At this week’s 2019 Las Vegas Market Winter Show, Creative Learning exhibitor and Finatur Design Founder and Director Magno Caterino received the Global Goodness Award. The Las Vegas Market Global Goodness Awards recognize furniture, home decor, and gift companies who incorporate sustainable practices and social responsibility into their product manufacturing. These companies are honored for the positive impact made on people and communities across the globe. According to Esther Ossei-Anto, Senior Marketing Manager for the International Market Centers, “Las Vegas Market buyers and exhibitors are extremely conscious of the ongoing impact that their purchasing and manufacturing decisions have on the overall health of the global environment. They are seeking products and solutions that make a positive difference in the world around us.”

Finatur Designs has worked in Colombia for more than 20 years, providing product development support and marketing plans and strategies for indigenous communities and folk artisans. According to Caterino, Finatur Design’s goal, “extends beyond just yielding revenue: through our work, we make an impact on culture and improve the livelihoods of the families in the communities we work with.”

Since 2017, Creative Learning’s Aid to Artisans (ATA) division has partnered with the Las Vegas Market to host their Training for Entrepreneurs in Artisan Markets (TEAM) program.
