Funded by the Swedish International Cooperative Agency (SIDA), the Libyan Human Rights Program (LHRP) is promoting a culture of respect for human rights through the strengthening of Libyan civil society through strengthening the capacity of Libyan human rights Civil Society Organizations to respond to human rights violations by enhancing their security and fostering collaboration with the newly elected government, and by raising awareness of social and individual human rights through outreach and education.
Creative Learning is currently establishing a Working Group on human rights, facilitating Working Group Activities, linking the Working Group to government officials and enabling partner organizations to safely and effectively promote human rights.
We are also raising awareness of social and individual human rights through outreach and education with focus on conducting an outreach campaign to sensitize Libyans on human rights issues and working with our local host government partners and Civil Society partners to introduce Human Rights education in schools and universities.
