Tsunami Relief (2006)

Last January, Creative Learning launched a campaign to collect funds to help children in Indonesia who have been affected by the tsunami. Creative Learning has donated hundreds of blue sweaters that will allow children to go to school. The Kakamega Blue Sweater Campaign is brilliant in its simplicity. Youth Leadership Diversity Day

In partnership with Youth Leadership Washington, Creative Learning conducted a whole day workshop with teenagers from the Washington metropolitan area. Youth Leadership Diversity Day gives participants an opportunity to understand and experience diversity as it is present in the group, and to learn more about cultures, what it means to be a culture broker and how this simulation applies to the participants’ experience of culture.
